Initially, the retail location operated with simple cash till, but as the business grew so Sony realised that he needed more powerful solution that could help with his business. He was looking for an Epos system which has retail, wholesale function, keep track of stock and staff management. He had tried many Epos system but they did not meet all his requirements. He found VDIT Epos system via an introduction of other retail company. After demo VDIT Epos system, Sony was keen on to invest 3 VDIT Epos systems for Parkside.

It was great importance for Sony that he had a system that could manage stock to a highly accurate level. And VDIT Epos system allows Sony to accurately keep track of all his stock and ensures he can see at a glance of which his products are selling well and which are not. This means Sony can make informed management decisions about which stock to order, which decreases the amount of stock he has to put on sale and ensures he can keep his profit margin high.

The VDIT Epos also provides loyalty module which will allow Parkside to reward regular customers with redeemable points for every purchase, which will help them to encourage return business and boots sales. That has not only encouraged repeat business but also it prevents his customers from shopping online or with other competitors.

Additionally, VDIT Epos system that has improved the running of Parkside’s business is the VDIT Epos Customer Display Pole, which fits on to the top of the VDIT Epos and gives his customers maximum transaction transparency. The display shows each item that is processed as it is scanned along with a running subtotal of the transaction.
