Mien Tay

Mien Tay is named the area of South Vietnam from which the owner family originates. The Mekong Delta runs through the region sustaining an abundance of fish and vegetation and their cooking reflects these fresh and fragrant characteristics of Vietnamese cuisine.

Mien Tay has been so popular for local lunches and late night eating they are bursting with happy laughing groups of friends enjoying plenty to eat and drink and do not be surprised if you still have to queue, they try hard to accommodate our customers and they will squeeze you in eventually.

With the restaurant serving customer from 12 pm until 12 am of the following morning. It was important that Mien Tay had a system they could rely on and that was able to keep up with their fast paced business. Mien Tay uses tablets to take customer order in the restaurant and this allows order to be sent straight through to the kitchen printer, resulting in staff being able to spend more time with customers. Van Anh believes some of the reasons for this success is that the VDIT Solutions Epos system has allowed her to run the software on existing hardware, which has saved the Mien Tay money and also means data is accessible from existing sites, which has made it extremely easy for all managers to access information when they are on the go.
